Inside Scoop wasn't born in a boardroom; it was born from a love story - a love for ice cream and a love for creating happy memories. In 2013, Edmund Tan and his wife, Lim Shiew Li, noticed a gap in the Malaysian ice cream market. While international chains dominated the premium segment, they longed for fresh, locally-made ice cream bursting with unmistakable natural flavours and a luxuriously smooth texture.

More Than Just

Edmund and Shiew Li weren't just passionate; they were also determined. While they boasted years of ice cream-eating experience (and some impressive home-churning skills!), they lacked formal culinary training. Undeterred, Shiew Li enrolled in Gelato University, Italy, to delve deeper into the science behind crafting the perfect scoop. This dedication to quality and continuous learning continues to be the cornerstone of Inside Scoop.
